What Does It Mean to Sponsor a Doggie?

At Santa Barbara Animal Help, we take great care of our furry friends. Each doggie that comes into our care requires a minimum of €750 to cover initial accommodation, veterinary bills, food, and other essentials. As we do not have our own kennel, we pay a pet hotel to provide a comfortable home for our dogs. We also provide them with beds, blankets, harnesses, leads, treats, toys, any necessary medications and anything else they need.

The list of our doggies that are currently looking for sponsorship is below, and any support you can offer will be gratefully received. If you would like to sponsor part or all of the costs for a particular dog, please get in touch with us to discuss the options.

In addition to sponsoring a dog, you can also donate a fixed fee to help cover the imminent costs that Santa Barbara Animal Help is facing. Your donation will go a long way in helping us provide the best possible care for our furry friends.

Thank you for considering supporting Santa Barbara Animal Help. Together, we can make a difference in the doggies' lives!

Boy

Smiling Max is a jovial as he looks!! This friendly and extremely intelligent boy has exuberance for everything in life, and is looking for an active human playmate (or playmates!).
As you might guess, Max loves walks, playing with toys, and going to cafes. Above all else, Max is devoted to people, giving them his snuggles, trust, and companionship. He is so grateful and happy when that love and attention is returned from people.
Max has learned to sit and to calmly allow a harness to be placed on him in order to go for walks. He is treat-motivated and learns quickly.
Max is over one year old and weighs 18 kilograms. He is sterilized, vaccinated, and chipped.
If you would like to meet happy Max, please contact us.

Nalha

Nalha

Available

Girl

1/7/2011

Nalha recently arrived to the open arms of SBAH, after being discovered on a short chain. Thankfully, the owner surrendered Nalha to our care.
Nalha is 14 years old. We are working to find her a calm, loving foster home or, better yet, a forever home for her to live out her remaining years in freedom from chains. We believe she will make a great companion for someone seeking a gentle, affectionate dog. Nalha is adjusting to being around other dogs (mostly without complication) and to cats (to which she currently is reactive). Nalha is very active for her age and has learned of the joys of frolicking on the beach.
Nahla is sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and healthy. Now she simply needs to enjoy nutritious food, to bask in the attention of kind humans, and to adapt to life beyond a one meter chain.
Donations to help with Nalha's veterinary bills are gratefully accepted via IBAN: PT50 0007 0000 0040 0506 5022 3
